2(x)ist October and New Episode Tomorrow!!!
The new 2(x)ist campaign will be up in Target this October. I had a chance to see the images going up on display and they turned out great. While I was on set I was shown the finished underwear spreads and was asked to "pick out the changes." Haha it was kind of funny because I'm looking at the photos like that picture hunt game. I noticed they took out all my veins, a few freckles and made me less ripped! The photos still looked great but all I could help think about was, "man, I soooo could have had that pizza the night before the shoot." The moral of the story...
New Routine
I'm switching up my usual hard and heavy Leg routine to trying something new. I'm going to be working each leg individually while primarily focusing on the contraction. According to scientific research, training one leg at a time recruits more muscle fibers and stabilizers. So if this theory is correct my legs will become ginormous!!! Or at least a little better.

TrainersTip.com is ALIVE!

It would be greatly appreciated if you (the amazing people reading this) can subscribe to all the networks; Vimeo, YouTube, Twitter (apparently JR made a Twitter for this) and if you have a blog or social network account please promote the show. If you get a chance to view the trailer let me know what you think, because after all the show is for you...
Mind in the Muscle
As I have had an opportunity to work and train with more people I have noticed a recurring trait with several clients when I first start working with them. They tend to use a lot more weight than they can handle with perfect form and they rush through the reps, as if it were a race to be the fastest to 12 reps. I want to take this time to say SLOW down and take the time to enjoy each rep, each is unique and special haha. Feel the muscle you are working contract and stretch with each full repetition.
Updated: New Pics
Luke has uploaded 4 new pics from his California Shoots. Check the Photo Gallery for the new pics.
We're Back! and more...
The site is finally back up and running again hoot hoot, sorry for the inconvenience.
Muscle Beach
I just recently had an opportunity to workout on muscle beach. The outdoor gym where Arnold and several other great bodybuilders have trained. I've been reading about and seeing pictures of this gym for years and I finally was able to visit it. It wasn't that big and didn't have much equipment but it had just the right amount to get a great chest workout. So I decided to train chest while getting a little sun. Hands down one of the coolest experiences ever.
Exodus in Belgium
According to the Wall Street Journal's Reed Albergotti, Belgian bodybuilders recently found a way to avoid testing positive for steroids and banned substances: straight up leaving the show! Albergotti stated that at the Belgian (bodybuilding) Championships over the weekend, ALL the competitors "grabbed their things and left'' when anti-doping officials showed.
Had I been at that show it would have been an easy victory, considering there were no other natural competitors or competitors at all haha. To view the article go to www.wallstreetjournal.com.
